Who were the only people who knew the role of Andrew Garfield No Way Home
It’s pretty amazing to see Andrew Garfield, star of The Amazing Spider-Man, still making an appearance on these press tours after a very hectic year he’s had, without even showing a hint of exhaustion. Although the worst is over, Andrew Garfield recently made an appearance on the Ellen Show, and as you can guess, No coming home inevitably came up at some point during the chat.
Andrew Garfield appeared again as Spidey in No Way Home
Andrew Garfield had appeared in three films which all released roughly during the same late 2021 window. First, there was Tammy Faye’s eyes, where he played the infamous Jim Bakker opposite Jessica Chastain, and then we also had Lin-Manuel Miranda’s recently acclaimed musical Tick, tick… Boom!, starring Andrew Garfield as Jonathan Larson.
Garfield’s performance turned out to be exceptionally good in both of these films, but neither would have been as taxing as his return in Spider-Man: No Coming Home, a mega event that he had to keep secret, even from someone like Emma Stone, who was his former partner. However, it looks like Garfield has leaked his secret to a few people.
“My father, my brother and my mother at the time. Yeah, just nice of us.
As we already know the magnitude of this particular experience, one of them must have been quite overwhelming, and we’re really glad that Garfield finally worked up the courage to tell his family, or he knew he didn’t. There was no way he could hide something like that from them altogether. Unfortunately, he did not provide further details on this particular issue.
